Ethan Plath begins the New Year with someone new in his life.
The 26-year-old star of Welcome to Plathville used Instagram to formally introduce his followers to his new girlfriend, almost a year after his divorce from Olivia Plath was filed.
“Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend!” Ethan captioned a series of photos with his new partner. “She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most patient people I’ve ever known! Excited to see what the next year holds. Wishing everyone a very happy New Year! Here we go 2025!”

The TLC star didn’t reveal his girlfriend’s name or any further details, but it’s clear they’ve been enjoying each other's company. In the pictures, Ethan and his blonde-haired, blue-eyed partner share affectionate and playful moments. One candid series of photos shows his girlfriend searching the car, then smiling when she realizes she’s being photographed.
The couple loves taking selfies, capturing several cheek-to-cheek photos. They also posed next to a vintage yellow convertible in one shot.
Ethan and Olivia publicly announced their separation in October 2023 after five years of marriage. They officially filed for divorce in February 2024, stating that they had separated in February 2023.
The breakdown of their marriage was depicted in season 5 of TLC's Welcome to Plathville, where it became evident that their values and priorities had diverged.

While Ethan appears to be concentrating on his romantic life, Olivia has also been in the spotlight with her new relationship with Brendan, highlighted in the latest season of the show. Over the past year, she dedicated time to exploring new destinations and experiencing adventures. In an Instagram post reflecting on her 2024, the wedding and travel photographer shared that she visited 11 countries and relocated from Los Angeles, Calif. to Washington, D.C.
"Learned to love and laugh more freely and wholly, peered a little harder into some dusty corners of my mind, sat with the stillness, grief, and uncomfortability," she wrote. "Stared in the mirror and saw a resilient and curious woman looking back at me. 2024 started along the lines of 'surviving' and now I’m a little closer to 'thriving'."
She concluded, "Whatever 2025 brings, I'm ready to face it!
