What Is Ross Travis’ Job?
As of 2024, Ross is an NFL free agent. He previously played alongside Travis on the Kansas City Chiefs from 2016 to 2017. Both are tight ends and developed a lasting friendship. Ross joined the Chiefs' practice squad as an undrafted free agent on September 7, 2015, despite not having played college football.
He was released by the Chiefs in November 2017 and subsequently picked up by the Indianapolis Colts. In August 2018, during a preseason game, Ross suffered an ACL injury that ended his season. He was waived by the Colts in December 2019 and later signed with the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns, but only on their practice squads.

The duo celebrated Travis’ Super Bowl win in 2024, sharing a suite at Allegiant Stadium and even posing for a photo together.
Ross and Taylor were also present to watch Travis compete in the AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens on January 28, 2024.
Although the exact nature of Ross and Taylor's relationship remains unclear, Travis chose Ross to accompany him on a trip to Sydney, Australia. This trip was planned ahead of Taylor, the “Cruel Summer” singer, starting her four Eras tour dates in the city on February 23, 2024.
On February 20, Ross and Travis enjoyed a round of golf at Wynn Las Vegas before boarding a private jet to Sydney, pausing briefly in Hawaii for refueling.
Prior to landing, Ross posted a black and white photo on his Instagram Stories, capturing a view from the plane window over New South Wales' coast, captioning it “Down Under.” Upon arrival on February 21, 2024, footage from Sydney’s local TV news depicted Travis and Ross disembarking their jet and getting into a waiting SUV.
Ross was with Travis when the NFL player organized a surprise party for Taylor on December 17, 2024, to mark the conclusion of her Eras tour. He shared pictures from the event, including one of Taylor singing into a microphone while dressed in a black outfit and sunglasses.
Ross was also visible in the image, appearing to be passionately singing a song. In a different photo, Taylor and Travis were captured posing for a picture, with Ross off to the side, singing into a microphone.
