Taylor Swift Marks 35th Birthday with Eras Tour Celebration

This evening is truly dazzling! Taylor Swift marked her 35th birthday with a spectacular Eras tour-themed celebration alongside her closest friends, including her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Taylor, now 35, appeared in photographs uploaded by Brittany Mahomes on Wednesday, December 18. She wore an elegant black minidress while posing for pictures with fellow Kansas City Chiefs WAGS. Brittany, 29, sported a Fearless-era ensemble featuring a silver sequined dress with sparkling boots. Her husband, Patrick Mahomes, wore a tuxedo to represent the iconic “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” skit from the Tortured Poets Department era.

Friends Lyndsay Bell and Ashley Avignone dressed in outfits inspired by the Lover and Reputation eras, respectively.

“My people,” Brittany captioned her post, adding a heart-hand emoji.

Although Travis, 35, didn't appear in Brittany’s post, he reportedly went all out for his girlfriend’s special day, spending $175,000 on gifts for her. These gifts included a rose gold Day-Date 36 Rolex valued at ,350 and additional jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels, as reported by The U.S. Sun.

Just one day before turning 35, the “Karma” singer made a visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on Thursday, December 12. Images and videos of Taylor interacting with patients and their families went viral on social media.

One set of photos captured Taylor laughing heartily after a patient showed her a Kansas City Chiefs throw blanket that read “Go Taylor’s Boyfriend.” In another clip, a patient told Taylor, " I like Travis now," to which the “So High School” artist replied, “Yes, me too! That’s an absolute yes from me.”

On the night before her birthday, Taylor achieved a historic milestone at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, becoming the most awarded artist in the show's history.

Though Taylor couldn't attend the event in person, she appeared through a prerecorded video where she accepted her award.

“I want to greet you all and express my gratitude to the Billboard Awards and my fans. Billboard tracks your preferences and the albums you cherish, so I consider these awards to be fan-driven. It's you who value our albums and attend our concerts,” she expressed. “Regarding the Eras tour and The Tortured Poets Department, I simply cannot thank you enough. Your support means everything to me. This is the best early birthday gift I could have wished for. Thank you so much. I absolutely love it. It’s perfect.”

Taylor was awarded 10 honors, such as Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top Hot 100 Songwriter.

The Pennsylvania native has been spending additional time in Kansas City following the conclusion of her groundbreaking Eras tour earlier this week. After performing 149 shows across five continents over the course of 21 months, Taylor made her final appearance in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8.

“We have experienced so many adventures”

It has been the most exhilarating, impactful, and thrilling experience I've ever had. Throughout this tour, we’ve had the privilege to perform for an audience of over 10 million," she announced to the crowd. "Tonight, we have the chance to put on one final show for all of you here in the stunning city of Vancouver. We're going to make it unforgettable."

After the show, the pop icon posted a series of tour photos on social media with the caption, "It was extraordinary. I was present. I recall it vividly."
