Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seemed to choose a quieter way to mark her 35th birthday, yet the NFL player certainly didn’t hold back on the presents. Travis had “been shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite some time.”
“He got her a bunch of presents,” a source informed Page Six in an article released on Saturday, December 14. “[He is] not one to wait until the last minute, so he has been picking up things gradually over the past several months whenever he finds the chance. Travis always listens, even when Taylor doesn’t realize it.”
The insider mentioned that some of the “presents are items that Taylor has casually mentioned wanting.”
Nonetheless, the Grotesquerie star, 35, kept quiet about what his plans were to commemorate her significant birthday.
“Travis has only shared his plans with a few close friends to avoid spoiling the surprises for Taylor,” another source told the publication.
Some fans speculated whether Travis had to delay celebrating the “So High School” singer on her actual birthday because he was seen at the Kansas City Chiefs Christmas party that evening, but the event was reportedly “mandatory.” Travis left “early to join Taylor for her birthday.”
Along with celebrating her 35th birthday this week, Taylor made history at the Billboard Music Awards by becoming the most awarded artist, taking home victories in 10 different categories and surpassing Drake.
The “Alchemy” artist was unable to attend the event in person as she was spending time at a local children’s hospital in Kansas City. However, she addressed her fans at the ceremony through a recorded video message.

"So, I see these as fan awards because you all are the ones who cherish our music and attend our shows."
The Miss Americana star added, "With everything that’s unfolded during the Eras tour and The Tortured Poets Department, I just need to say thank you. I'm incredibly touched by how you've embraced my work and shown you care so deeply. This is the best early birthday gift I could ask for. So, thank you very much. I love it. It's exactly what I wished for."
Taylor is likely anticipating a well-deserved break after concluding her landmark Eras tour on December 8. The tour, initially planned to last just six months, extended to nearly two years. Her first performance of the tour was in March 2023. As demand for tickets soared, the pop sensation added more dates. Over 21 months, Taylor performed in 54 countries, delivering 149 shows.
