Riley Green and Ella Langley have stirred up quite the buzz with their successful 2024 track "You Look Like You Love Me." This song, released in June 2024, quickly gained popularity, eventually climbing to the top of the Country Airplay charts and securing the Musical Event of the Year award at the 2024 CMA Awards. The question on everyone's mind is whether Riley and Ella are more than just musical collaborators.
Are Riley Green and Ella Langley Dating?
Despite the romantic rumors sparked by their successful song "You Look Like You Love Me," Riley and Ella are not a couple. "We’re just friends," Ella clarified in September 2024.
Riley shared his thoughts on the public's interest in their relationship during an interview with Kiss Country 99.9, stating, "It's the same reason people have always been fascinated by couples like George [Jones] and Tammy [Wynette], Johnny Cash and June Carter, or Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Everyone wants to believe in that couple, you know, if you can have that."
How Did Riley Green and Ella Langley Meet?
In an interview with Backstage Country in November 2024, Riley revealed, "I've admired Ella Langley's talent for a long time. We met through a mutual friend, and I was immediately captivated by her voice, her twang, and her love for what I consider traditional country music."
Both being Alabama natives, Riley and Ella had a natural connection. Ella shared with Taste of Country, "Riley was probably the first famous person I ever met. He was performing at the same bars I frequented, and we played the same venues. It's amazing to see people from Alabama succeeding."

Recalling the moment to People, Ella said, "I thought, 'Wow, imagine if Riley were to write a second verse for this song.'
Listening to him speak is unique; it's something we both were raised with. Sharing all these moments together has been incredibly enjoyable.
Regarding his perspective, Riley shared, “None of us anticipated how enormous it would become. I was introduced to the song through a mutual friend, and Ella played a bit of it for me. I ended up writing a verse, and it turned into this massive hit.”
Ella will once again join Riley for his Damn Country Music tour in 2025. Additionally, in October 2024, Ella was featured on Riley’s track “Don’t Mind If I Do.”
Is Riley Green Married?
Riley is currently single and generally keeps his private life out of the spotlight.
“I feel like my lifestyle has been a major distraction for the past six years,” he confessed on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast in November 2024. The previous year, he told Taste of Country that it’s been challenging for him to commit to a relationship. “I’m on the road for a couple hundred days a year – most girls aren’t OK with that,” Riley explained.
Despite this, the “There Was This Girl” artist has his two dogs for companionship. He was rumored to be involved with Sophia Sansone after they attended the CMT Awards together in 2022, but their relationship was never officially confirmed.
