Megan and MGK participated in their first joint interview, where she expressed her admiration for her new partner just two months after ending her marriage to Brian Austin Green in May 2020.
“The moment I was in a room with him... I immediately recognized that he was what I refer to as a twin flame,” the Till Death actress shared during a combined appearance with her Midnight in the Switchgrass co-star on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s “Give Them Lala... With Randall” podcast.
“Unlike a soul mate, a twin flame signifies that a soul has evolved to such a high level that it can be divided into two separate bodies simultaneously. So, we’re essentially two halves of the same soul, I believe. And I told him that almost immediately because I felt it right away,” she continued.
Following months of rumors, Megan and MGK confirmed their relationship on social media. The Rogue actress praised her “achingly beautiful” man.

In an Interview feature, MGK recounted how Megan provided significant support during his journey to overcome drug addiction.
“When you have a partner, like my Megan, who stays by your side during those dark nights when you’re sweating and cannot understand why you’re so trapped in your mind, helping you gain perspective and ease out of it, it really, really helps,” he shared.

On April 10, at the 2022 Daily Front Row Awards, rumors of potential trouble in the relationship arose after the Jennifer’s Body star appeared to physically dismiss her fiancé's attempt to kiss her on the red carpet.

It is alleged that Megan discovered something distressing on MGK’s phone, prompting her to ask him to cut the trip short.
