Kelsea Ballerini has a message for those spreading rumors about her being pregnant: “Get Over Yourself.”
The 31-year-old country-pop artist responded on TikTok to a fan who inquired if she was “maybe pregnant” following her admission of feeling unwell during her Detroit concert on February 4.
“Or maybe it’s the flu. Yeah,” the “Cowboys Cry Too” singer declared in her February 6 video, in which she was seen wearing a black puffer jacket, a colorful trucker hat, and under-eye masks.
In the caption, Kelsea added, “Anyway, feeling better and can’t wait to see you tonight Buffalo.”
Unfortunately, the Voice coach was more ill than she expected, resulting in her cutting her performance at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, short after only a few songs.
“Buffalo, I am so so sorry that I could not finish the show tonight,” Kelsea expressed in another TikTok. “I am sicker than I am trying to be and I did not want to let anyone down tonight.”
She added, “I just got through the first few songs and I couldn’t continue. I’m very sorry, but I never want to give you a subpar performance.”
Kelsea mentioned that she would need to reschedule her shows in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Toronto to the end of her tour in April.

I’m going to rest now and get well so I can truly deliver the rest of this tour. Thank you for understanding my humanity, and I love you,” she concluded.
In the caption, Kelsea added, “Flu got the best of me. I’m so so sorry, my friends. I tried my hardest. Rescheduled dates are posted.”
She returned to the stage at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Monday, February 10, appearing to be much improved.
“Just what the doctor ordered,” the “Miss Me More” artist captioned a carousel of photos, which included concert snapshots and a picture from her perspective while sitting in bed with a bowl of chicken soup from Chick-fil-A.
Kelsea’s health issues and her reaction to the pregnancy rumors surfaced during her romance with Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes. The duo first sparked dating speculations in January 2023 after being seen together at the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship in Los Angeles. Their relationship seemed confirmed when Chase, 32, left a heart emoji comment on one of her Instagram posts the following month.
Two years down the line, the couple's relationship appears stronger and more loving than ever.
In January, Kelsea shared on Instagram, “Two years of meeting up in various cities, perfecting a chimichurri steak, and building a life around our dogs. Love you so much, teammate.”
Chase, in his anniversary message, wrote, “2 years around the sun with you, I love you kb. (especially when you laugh so hard you wheeze, and 8 am dance sessions with your toothbrush).”
Though the couple has not yet gotten engaged, a source revealed exclusively to Life & Style in December 2024 that it is just a matter of time.
“He’s incredibly romantic and often mentions that she is the woman he wants to spend his life with,” the source shared. “They frequently talk about having found their soulmate, so there really isn't any reason not to take the next step in their relationship.”
