Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck celebrated Christmas with their children, an insider reveals.
An exclusive source informed PEOPLE that the former couple, both aged 52, gathered as a family to enjoy the holidays with their children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
"Jen and Ben spent Christmas together. It's all about the kids,” the insider says. They added, “Jen valued family time during the holidays while growing up and wants to give her children the same experience."
Garner and Affleck, who ended their marriage in 2015 after nearly a decade, have reportedly been reconnecting more frequently since Affleck’s split from Jennifer Lopez in August.

The Elektra actress and Argo filmmaker were seen getting bagels together on the morning of Dec. 7, reportedly having breakfast before returning to Affleck’s residence. They also spent Thanksgiving together, serving the community with their children at The Midnight Mission's annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, an event aiding L.A.'s homeless.

“They genuinely love contributing to their community and valuing their time together as a family,” a source revealed to PEOPLE.

Another insider previously mentioned that Garner's primary concern is her children's happiness.
“She will continue to ensure that they spend moments together as a family and involve Ben," the insider added.
"The children appreciate when they all gather," the source continued. "Jen is thankful that Ben is in a good place. They remain friendly, but that's the extent of it."
Garner and her current partner, John Miller, a CEO and father of two, started seeing each other in 2018, just before Garner and Affleck completed their divorce.

. "Though the divorce was only recently finalized, Jen had considered herself single for quite some time. Dating felt like a natural progression," a source told PEOPLE. "Jen will always care for Ben and support him in being the best father he can be. However, she was very much ready to move forward," they continued.
Garner and Miller split towards the end of 2019 but reconnected in 2021 and have been together since. A source informed PEOPLE in December 2024 that the Alias star is "very happy" with her boyfriend of many years and "sees him almost daily.
