Travis Kelce mentioned that his third consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl isn’t a coincidence. He and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, both believe in the power of manifesting their ambitions into reality.
"I think we both enjoy bringing things into existence through manifestation," Travis, 35, shared with reporters at a media event on Monday, February 3, prior to Super Bowl LIX.
"You can't deny its reality since we're here, right?" the Kansas City Chiefs player added, referring to the upcoming game on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. His team is set to compete against the Philadelphia Eagles, aiming to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Travis also commented on what Swift fans refer to as “Tayvoodoo,” a notion that Taylor, 35, can influence significant plays by merely attending Chiefs games.
“Whatever she was doing, I’m sure it made a difference,” the Ohio native quipped.
Travis remained tight-lipped about whether he’s planning to propose to Taylor, evasively responding when asked if a proposal to the “Lavender Haze” singer is on the horizon post-Super Bowl.
"That's something you'd like to know, right?" he replied when questioned by a journalist about a potential engagement.
Some fans speculate that Travis envisioned his relationship with Taylor when he disclosed on a July 2023 episode of his “New Heights” podcast that he unsuccessfully attempted to give the Grammy winner a friendship bracelet with his phone number during her Kansas City Eras tour performance earlier that month.
Taylor appreciated the gesture, describing it as "metal as hell," and they soon began dating.

She detailed her aspirations for a future partner in the letter.
Taylor mentioned that any relationship she embarked on would need to be "long-distance, even if I date the boy who lives next door to me in Nashville. I’ll be flying to see him and flying him places to see me."
Travis notably traveled to watch Taylor perform during her Eras world tour, visiting countries like South America, Australia, Singapore, and Europe to attend her concerts.
“It seems like it would require even more planning, and I already handle a lot of scheduling in my life,” she added. “However, if I met someone who was truly worth it, I might reconsider my stance!”
When questioned if she wanted a partner with a “similar level” of success, Taylor's answer led some fans to believe she was predicting her future with Travis.
“I think it's more about confidence. I wouldn’t want someone who just goes along with whatever I say and lets me have all the control,” the “Lover” singer elaborated. “I'm naturally inclined to take charge, but I’d prefer to be with someone who has his own voice, drive, and ambition.”
Taylor eventually found that 14 years later with the NFL superstar and future Hall of Famer.
