Southern Charm is preparing for some changes next season as Madison LeCroy is expecting her second child, which will be her first with her husband Brett Randle.
Madison, 34, joyfully shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, February 6, displaying a positive ClearBlue pregnancy test and a radiant smile.
“And just like that... our world is changing in the most magical way! Seeing ‘Pregnant’ on this @clearblue test was the best moment of our lives,” the Bravo star wrote in her caption. “We can’t wait to meet you, little one!”
Messages of congratulations poured in from other Bravolebrities, including Summer House’s Ciara Miller and The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Boalch Darby.
“Hell yeah!!!!! Congrats babe!!!!” commented Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard, who had also announced her pregnancy through her ClearBlue partnership in July 2024.
This will be Madison’s first child with Brett, 38, but her second child overall, as she has a 12-year-old son, Hudson Hughes, from her previous marriage to Josh Hughes.
Before their intimate wedding in Mexico in November 2022, Madison and Brett had discussed the idea of having more children. Although Brett was eager to start a family, Madison wanted to enjoy their newlywed life first. Additionally, they often spend time apart due to Brett’s job as a fire chief in California, while he returns to Charleston, South Carolina, during his days off.
“I kind of want to be married for at least a year, maybe two, before I jump into that. I know that obviously, kids take a lot of your time,” Madison exclusively told Life & Style in October 2022.
Courtesy of Madison LeCroy/ Instagram Later, she confessed that she would “definitely” be happy to try for a baby girl, though she embraces being a “total boy mom.”
“So, I might say, if I get two boys, I might try for one more,” Madison added.
By November 2024, Madison embraced her role as a wife and announced that she and Brett were "trying to have a baby" and were optimistic about their chances. Additionally, the couple received final approval for their baby plans.
"Recently, [Hudson] gave me the go-ahead to have a sibling," Madison shared with Us Weekly at that time. "He said, 'Mom, you can have a baby now.' And I replied, 'Oh, OK. Thank you. I’ve been waiting for your approval.’"
Meanwhile, the makeup artist revealed to The Daily Dish that her main goal for 2025 was to "expand her family."
"I’m really looking forward to focusing more on that, being present, getting healthy and accomplishing all those things we promise ourselves we’ll start on January 2," she explained as the year was coming to an end.
As Madison spoke fondly of her marriage to Brett, fans grew concerned about their relationship after she emotionally admitted she was "scared to lose" him during the October 2024 Southern Charm season 10 trailer.
Madison kept the details of her fears under wraps until the second episode of Southern Charm's 10th season aired in December 2024, when she and Brett revealed his thyroid cancer diagnosis on camera.
"I’m grateful that Brett was able to go in [for surgery]," Madison said during an interview confessional.
They excised a three-centimeter nodule, eliminating the cancer, but now he’s experiencing complications. It feels as though we can't catch a break.
