It’s widely recognized that 2024 was an outstanding year for Taylor Swift, and her friends wholeheartedly agree. Jeslyn Gorman, one of the background singers on the Eras tour, posted a nostalgic photo featuring herself, Taylor, and other friends from their shared experiences.
In the image, several women, including 35-year-old Taylor and Jeslyn, relax on a yacht. Taylor is seen in a vibrant bikini and a beige baseball cap. Jeslyn also shared additional snapshots from 2024, including one more picture of herself with the “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” singer. In this photo, they are standing in an archway with neon lights behind them.
Jeslyn, who has been with Taylor since the Red tour, reflected on various lessons she “discovered in 2024.”
“Joy is a healing force. Grace is a wonderful privilege that we should extend to ourselves more often. Don’t worry about the minor things; life is meant to be enjoyed. Being generous not only helps others but also uplifts you. We are far more capable than we believe,” she expressed on Instagram on January 4. “Strength and resilience come from experiencing discomfort and putting in hard work. My chosen family is absolutely amazing. TikTok can be incredibly helpful for travel planning. I am loved more than I ever imagined. Setting boundaries is crucial. With a strong mind, you can overcome anything.”
Jeslyn emphasized that it's acceptable to experience both joy and heartbreak simultaneously and that self-perception is more important than others' opinions of you.
She concluded, “Travel is a soul-inspiring journey, offering deep self-discovery.”
Being able to share your thoughts and feelings in a secure, open environment is a luxury. It's important to recognize that you can't solve all problems, and that's perfectly fine. Each day presents a fresh chance to strive for your best, to opt for grace, joy, and love. Here's to more love in 2025.
Jeslyn Gorman/InstagramTaylor concluded her legendary Eras tour on December 8, 2024, following 21 months of global travel. She visited 54 countries and held 149 concerts across five continents. The Miss Americana singer became emotional during her final show in Vancouver, referring to the Eras tour as the "journey of a lifetime."
Speaking to an audience of 60,000 at B.C. Place, Taylor said, “I’m speaking for my entire band ... my fellow performers, who left their families behind, who have been away from their loved ones and continued to perform even when they were unwell. Whatever was happening in their lives, they ensured this show went on for you, and I just wanted to express on behalf of all of us, we will never forget the moments you gave us. Thank you, Vancouver.”
Since concluding the historic tour, Taylor has been relaxing and attending several games of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs. The “Blank Space” singer also marked her 35th birthday with an Eras-themed surprise party organized by Travis.
