Taylor Swift quietly showed her support for her friends Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes following the birth of their third child.
After Brittany, 29, posted on Instagram on Monday, January 13, to share the news that she and Patrick, 29, welcomed their daughter Golden on Sunday, January 12, fans quickly observed that Taylor, 35, supported the announcement by “liking” the post.
Taylor has become good friends with the couple since she began her relationship with Travis Kelce, Patrick’s teammate on the Kansas City Chiefs, in the summer of 2023. She has not only attended several games with Brittany in private suites but also vacationed with the couple. In July 2024, Taylor and Travis, 35, joined Patrick and Brittany, along with Summit Hogue and Miranda Hogue, on a trip to Amsterdam.
Patrick has also mentioned that Taylor has met their two older children, Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2, over the past year.
During an October 2024 episode of “The Drive with Carrington Harrison,” Patrick was asked if the “Cruel Summer” singer had ever baked for him or his family. He confirmed that she “has never baked anything specifically for me,” but she did make various treats that have been around my house like muffins and donuts.
“Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes,” he added. “I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them.”
In addition to forming a bond with Brittany and Patrick’s family, Patrick revealed that the “You’re Losing Me” singer is "really interested in football" and has asked "a lot of great questions” about the sport since she started dating Travis.
During an appearance on an episode of NFL on NBC in August 2024, Patrick mentioned that Taylor had been "creating play strategies, so we might consider using one."
Courtesy of Taylor Swift/Instagram It’s not surprising that Taylor has adapted to Travis’ way of life and his social circle. An insider revealed exclusively to Life & Style that she is eager to spend quality time with him now that her Eras tour has concluded. “After being on the road for 21 months and spending a year-and-a-half with Travis, Taylor is prepared to embark on this new chapter with the man she loves,” the source exclusively disclosed on January 9.
The insider added that the couple has “much to anticipate, and they couldn’t be more thrilled about it.”
Although Taylor missed some of Travis’ games due to her tour commitments, he assured that fans should expect to see her at the Chiefs' game against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, January 18.
“Will there be an extra atmosphere in that place? You know what we mean,” Pat McAfee asked the Ohio native during his appearance on the Monday, January 13, episode of The Pat McAfee Show, alluding to the “Shake It Off” singer.
“Oh yeah, you know it, baby.
Travis replied, "This is playoff football, my friend.
