Jessica Alba and her spouse, Cash Warren, have allegedly ended their marriage after over 16 years together.
According to sources speaking to TMZ on Wednesday, January 8, Jessica, 43, and Cash, 45, have recently split and intend to proceed with a divorce.
The couple has not disclosed the specific reasons for their separation, but in recent months, both have suggested there were issues in their relationship. Jessica attended a pre-Golden Globes event on January 4 at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood without Cash, notably without wearing her wedding ring.
In December, Jessica further fueled breakup speculations when she appeared ringless in Rome with film producer Andrea Iervolino. Simultaneously, Cash was seen without his wedding band in Los Angeles last week.
Neither Jessica nor Cash have publicly commented on the separation rumors or responded to Life & Style's request for a statement.
The couple first crossed paths on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004, with Jessica portraying Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman, and Cash serving as a director’s assistant.
Jessica reminisced about their first encounter during a 2010 interview with Cosmopolitan, saying, “Right after I met [Cash], I called my best friend and said, ‘I met this guy, and it feels like I’ve known him forever. I think I’m going to know him for the rest of my life.'"
The two tied the knot in May 2008 and welcomed their first daughter, Honor, in June of that year. Their second daughter, Haven, was born in August 2011, followed by their son, Hayes, in December 2017.

“He’s expressed to me multiple times, ‘I want you to be available on the weekends and not focus on work.’ Perhaps it’s a case of over-communicating.”
The Honest Company founder mentioned that she and Cash used to communicate extensively about issues before they escalated beyond control.
After stating that she did not think they had any special secret to maintaining their marriage, Jessica added, “We simply make sure to keep each other in check.”
Although they have presented a unified front for over ten years, Cash confessed that he and Jessica had a brief break-up before getting married.
“When we first began dating, I was very jealous of the attention she received from other men. It made me uncomfortable,” he revealed on the “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast in August 2023. “We ended our relationship because of my jealousy. I was becoming unpleasant to be around, so we decided to part ways. During our time apart, I vowed to handle that jealousy differently.”
While the couple managed to resolve that conflict, they faced further challenges in parenting their children. In January 2024, an insider disclosed exclusively to Life & Style that Jessica made significant efforts to enhance her family’s domestic life.
